How we work with other Associations
The HPCA is one of many essential professional associations functioning like a cog in the intricate machinery of support for Health and Social Care.
Patients and service users in the UK benefit from the expertise of clinical professionals and the dedication of business, operations, and administration professionals. This essential workforce of approximately 250,000 staff ensures the daily delivery of services, the smooth running of hospitals and facilities, and the continuous improvements and innovations needed now and in the future.
These professions are supported by charitable and not-for-profit associations that provide consistency, standards, communities of practice, education and training, CPD events, and career development.
Collectively, these associations offer the core management and specialist skills necessary to ensure value for money and efficient delivery of health and care services, ultimately benefiting health outcomes and quality of life of patients and the public.
