FEDIP's mission is to represent all Health and Care Informatics Professionals and help them to achieve professionalisation through professional registration and the unification of the various Health and Care Informatics communities of interest through partnership and collaboration.

The FEDIP Register
By bringing together the expertise of their Professional Body Members, they have developed professional standards and created a professional register. This allows FEDIP to offer Health and Care Informatics Professionals an accredited path to professional status.
The FEDIP Occupational Architecture
The Federation for Informatics Professionals in Health and Care (FEDIP) is pleased to have launched a centralised, public database for standardised job role profiles within the health and care informatics profession.
FEDIP's objective is to establish a cohesive framework for job roles across the health and care informatics spectrum. This framework is anchored in an expanded Government Digital and Data Profession Capability Framework, utilising the Skills for the Information Age framework (SFIA).
FEDIP are thankful for HPCA’s support and advice on ensuring job roles incorporate and correctly reference the core capabilities needed for the roles.
